מפתן "השחר" הוא מסגרת חינוכית- שיקומית-
טיפולית- מקצועית, המאפשרת הכשרה מקצועית ולימודים עיוניים, ובה ניתן יחס אישי
לחניכים.
מתקבלים נערים ונערות בגילאי 14-18, שברצונם
לרכוש השכלה עיונית ומקצועית, וזקוקים למסגרת חמה ומכילה.

לאחר אבחון נבנית לכל
נער ונערה תכנית לימודים יחידנית על פי יכולתו וידיעותיו.
תחומי ההוראה
היחידנית מתרכזים ב:
מתמטיקה, הבעה ולשון,
אנגלית, אזרחות, היסטוריה, פיסיקה, ביולוגיה.
תחומי ההוראה הקבוצתית מתרכזים ב:תקשורת בין
אישית, הבעה, כישורי חיים, מחשבים וספורט.
כמו כן, פועלת תכנית מלב"מ לבגרות במקצועות:
פיסיקה, מתמטיקה, אנגלית ומחשבים.
במפתן "השחר" פועלות ארבע מגמות:
נגרות, צורפות, קונדטוריה ועיצוב שיער.
הבוגרים מקבלים תעודת סיום של 12 שנות לימוד
וסיווג מקצועי כל בוגר בתחומו.
ניתן טיפול פרטני וקבוצתי.
תכניות מניעה והתערבות.
הדרכה אינטנסיבית לצוות המורים.
במפתן מתקיימים חוגים כמו:
דרמה- קבוצת הדרמה מתקיימת באוריינטציה טיפולית.
התהליך הטיפולי כולל עיבוד תכנים רגשיים שעולים תוך התבוננות
פנימית והתחברות לכוחות הפנימיים החיוביים, ולנקודות החוזק.
קבוצת קפה בנות- קבוצה המיועדת רק לבנות המפתן. מתקיימת אחת
לשבוע למשך שעה וחצי. הקבוצה מונחית ע"י עובדת סוציאלית והינה קבוצה טיפולית
דינמית.
בעין המצלמה- קבוצה באוריינטיציה טיפולית באמצעות צילום
ווידיאו וסטילס. את הקבוצה מנחים איש מקצוע- צלם ועורך מקצועי ואיש טיפול עובדת
סוציאלית במפתן. הקבוצה נפגשת אחת לשבוע למשך שעתיים
וחצי. בקבוצה מועלים תכנים של הכרת המצלמה, תנועות המצלמה, קומפוזיציה ותאורה.
חבורת זמר- קבוצה
המיועדת לכל מי שמעוניין לשיר ולפתח את הצד המוזיקלי שבו. הקבוצה נפגשת אחת לשבוע
למשך 45 דק'.
תוכנית רשתות- קשרים וכישורים- הכנה לעולם העבודה- תוכנית
רשתות חברתיות הינה תוכנית שמטרתה לסייע ולכוון את בני הנוער הבוגרים במפתן להשתלב
בעולם העבודה. לפתח מודעותם לחשיפת יתר למשרות פוגעניות והפיכתן של משרות אלו
לזמניות ככל הניתן ולשלב הכרחי בלבד.
בתוכנית קיימת פעילות מפורטת לקראת השתלבות במשרה
מכובדת וראוייה.
