חברי הקבוצה הגיעו אל הכנסת מלווים ברכזת הקיימות
הבית ספרית- אפרת אשכנזי, ומנהלת בית הספר גלית פרדינרו.
אמא גאה של אחת מבנות ההנהגה שגם ייצגה את ארגון
"מגמה ירוקה" וצוות מחלקת קיימות מאגף איכות הסביבה.
את הילדים ליווה נציג מטעם " מגמה ירוקה
", ארגון המתנדבים הסביבתי הגדול בישראל, שפתח וסיפר להם על מבנה
הכנסת והממשלה ולאחר מכן הוביל אותם לקחת חלק בוועדות שונות ובסיור מרתק בכנסת הירוקה.הביקור היה מרגש ובעל ערך רב.
שיא היום הגיע כאשר רכזת הקיימות-אפרת אשכנזי
ושתי בנות מטעם ההנהגה הירוקה השתתפו באופן פעיל בדיון אותו הוביל השר לאיכות
הסביבה זאב אלקין ,הדיון עסק בקידום החינוך הסביבתי בבתי הספר ובגני הילדים.
אפרת סיפרה על הפעילויות והעשייה בעלת המשמעות
החשובה בתחום הקיימות והסביבה גם בקרב בית הספר וגם בקרב הקהילה.
היא דיברה על המחויבות של הילדים להשקיע מזמנם גם
על חשבון ההפסקות והזמן הפנוי.
הבנות סקרו פעילויות נבחרות מהשנה האחרונה
ובמיוחד דיברו על פרויקט בנוגע לגלגולה של שקית פלסטיק ומחאה שהן הובילו
בנוגע לצמצום כמות המדורות בל"ג בעומר.
הילדים והצוות חזרו הביתה עם המון חוויות ורצון
גדול להמשיך ולפעול בתחום ולהשפיע על הקהילה מסביבם להצטרף ולדאוג יחד לאיכות
